Every dish was a masterpiece, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Once again, they managed to surprise and impress us, even after all these years. My family couldn’t stop raving about the food. If you’re looking for an unforgettable Chinese New Year dinner, this is the place. Highly recommended!"

Jun 02, 2026"Dinner at Lotus Chinese Restaurant in Docklands prior to our Lady Gaga concert on Friday night: overall the food was only mediocre. XO sauce pipis with fried dough stick: the sauce for the pipis was very nice, and the pipis were large and meaty. But they didn't clean it well, and there was a bit of sand / grittiness. The fried dough was also not crispy enough. Complementary soup: lovely and light flavours! Steamed chicken: the meat was tender but a bit tasteless, so you really need to use the sauce. Combination chow mein: the noodles were soggy, not at all crispy, which was a bit of a let down. Greens with mushrooms: this was nicely done. Mango sago dessert soup: this was good!"

True to form, every single dish exceeded our expectations and surprised us once again with its excellence. My whole family loved everything, and we had a wonderful, unforgettable Chinese New Year celebration here."

Prior to dining here I did read the reviews and it seemed a bit hit and miss at times, not that all reviews can be trusted as legitimate sometimes. Well we had an excellent experience. Very satisfied. Id eat here again. Thank You."

I usually have sweet an sour sauce with my rice but this didn't even need it. It was full of flavour and lots of veggies and egg. My partner also thoroughly enjoyed his hot and sour soup. We will definitely be back. Prices were great and not far from where we were staying and serving sizes were generous"
